NEW LOOK'S USE OF INSTAGRAM INFLUENCERS

This was the moodboard I created to present on my InDesign document which showcases how New Look currently show influencers

This is how influencers are shown on New Look's Instagram:


- including photos of influencers on their Instagram feed allows New Look to present a range of content, as without them their content would purely be professional photos of models or the products themselves 
- this also makes their feed look more casual and on trend
- showing their followers photos of influencers in their products also allows consumers to have more of an understanding of how the product looks on a person in real life, given that influencers are seen more as 'real people' rather than celebrities and consumers relate to them more than a models who's photos are purely at photoshoots whereby the photos are much more set up 
- using influencers also benefits New Look too. This is due to the fact that when they partner with influencers and post photos of them on their instagram, this is in-turn posted onto the influencers instagram which likely has a large following and therefore may result in more people seeing New Look's instagram and following it. Thus generating publicity 
- however, it is important to note that New Look's choice of influencers are not very diverse at all. The vast majority of the influencers that they post photos of are white, often blonde, females of a similar age and body size (being very slim).  Consequently this could contribute towards the current online problem of young girls seeing these influencers and compare themselves to them, which therefore creates a negative and toxic body image

Certain photos of influencers wearing their products are also posted onto their Facebook page, consequently generating more publicity;
